Nicola Gildersleeve- Ultramarathon Runner

I am a runner! It is my passion. So much so, that I have found myself as a competitive ultramarathon runner. You can usually find me running up and down our local North Shore mountains as these trails are my second home. The longest distance I have raced is 100km and this summer I am taking a shot at my first 100 miler, Western States 100 in Auburn Washington. I am excited to see what my body can do and how far I can push myself.
When I am not running, I work as a personal trainer and run coach in North Vancouver. I am self-employed which allows me the freedom to train and travel. I love helping others work towards their goals and dreams.
Elevate Me! energy bars have become a staple in my diet. I take them with me whenever I travel and serve as a great snack. They pack so much flavor without a lot of ingredients. If I could describe Elevate Me energy bars in 3 words they would be: pure, wholesome and delicious!
Alison Hooper – Canadian Junior Elite Triathlete

I’ve been training for many years and often find good quality snacks hard to come by. When I was first introduced to Elevate Me back in early last year through one of my dad’s business partners I was excited and relieved because I finally found a bar that used whole foods and actually tasted good! So what do I do? I swim, I bike and I run. However I also go to school, do yoga, lift weights, follow a proper nutritional diet and somehow manage to fit in time for fun and friends.
My next race is in Mexico to qualify for Junior Olympics in Singapore, however this race isn’t until April 2010. Presently I’m working on my goals of reaching the podium in the 2010 Junior Worlds in Hungary. I look forward to keeping you all up to date on my goals, and training and stories from the road. Training is something I’ve come to love and hope you too find the sport that drives your passion.
Ariane Lavigne- Pro Snowboarder –Canadian National Team.

Hi, My name is Ariane Lavigne, I’m a snowboard athlete and competing in World Cup with the Canadian National Team.
I’m also a nutritionnist, doing private/group consultations in a fitness center when I’m home.
I tried the “Elevate Me” products recently and really liked them…simple ingredients, great nutritional value and good taste!
They’re one of the only bars that stay “eatable/soft” when it’s cold outside! They’re perfect!
So I recommend it to all my teammates and it became the best snack option on the slopes for most of us.

Brenna Coupland
My name is Brenna Coupland and I am a yoga teacher and cycling enthusiast living in the beautiful city of Vancouver, BC. I grew up in Winnipeg dancing and studying culinary arts, but moved west in 2007 to pursue a life in the healing arts. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Open Door Yoga, and continued to specialize in prenatal, children’s, and family yoga. I am now studying with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and working towards completing an RHN (Registered Holistic Nutritionist) diploma.
I have a ‘special’ relationship with my bike and enjoy taking “adventures” to cities just outside of Vancouver! My favorite ride is a sunny afternoon along the Stanley Park seawall, taking a dip in the ocean, and finishing with a sunset ride over the Burrard Street Bridge. I am preparing for my first long-distance trip across Canada this summer.
